One of my students, who is also a photographer, told me about a "castle" on the beach in Laguna, which absolutely got my attention. However, he couldn't remember the beach. I did some research and found Victoria Beach Tower, which was built in 1929 as a private spiral stairway to and from upper Victoria Beach. The tower is no longer in use, but it's a wonderful subject.
