Beach Dana_Point Orange_County Sunset

The Strand. Dana Point, California.
I was driving towards Pacific Coast Highway this afternoon as the sun was setting. The colors were incredible. so I found beach access as quick as I could. I landed at The Strand in Dana Point - a beach I'd not been to before. It's isolated because of the switchbacks that lead down to the beach - and the climb back up is rigorous.
Tonight's sunset was memorable because the colors were so spectacular. I've done little to no editing of these photos.
The photos don't show that the property above the beach is being developed into an exclusive multi-million dollar housing community. Although this is my first time at The Strand, I'm sure that this major development project is changing the nature of the beach.
